Copper Garnet Headband

Here we have a rare one! I infrequently make headbands these days and eveb less frequently in copper. I think the copper really lends itself to the garnet though.. and it is a really deep garnet as well. Some of the beads have a bit of flash/rainbow to them as well in direct sunlight.

The most frequent question I get about these headbands is whether your hair gets caught in them. When I had long hair I tried them out and did not find this to be the case, and everyone I have spoken to who has purchased one has said it didn’t as well. They also tend to be fine for folks who have sensitivities to getting headaches with headbands or other hair accessories.

This is a one of a kind headband as I have not made another quite like this before. This is made with a bare copper wire so the wire will patina over time and this is natural. You can shine it up with any jewelry polishing cloth.
