Leland Blue Pendant

$85.00 USD

Here we have the only piece of Leland Blue stone I have ever managed to get my hands on. Leland blue is not technically a real stone, it is instead a slag glass that was produced as a byproduct of manufacturing in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Glass byproduct is known as slag glass. This slag glass was thrown into Lake Michigan to just get rid of it but many decades later it started washing up on the shore. It makes some really pretty cabochons. I knew I needed to do something special with this cabochon, so I dug out my old "Timeless Wire Wraps" book and did my favorite wrap from it with it. Come grab a piece of the second industrial revolution!

This pendant will come with your choice of 18 or 24" stainless steel chain. Just write in the cart comments which you prefer. Chain will be 24" by default. All silver colored wire is a silver plated enameled non tarnish wire with a copper core. No need to polish.
