Maury Mountain Moss Agate, cut by me

Here we have another piece that’s been cut by me. I’ve been having fun cutting stones again. This is Maury Mountain moss agate. This material is a renowned, high-quality “old stock" moss agate from Oregon's Ochoco National Forest. I picked up this material from a stone seller in Oregon who is now no longer in business. I have quite a large chunk of this, and I had forgotten exactly what this material was, but fortunately wrote it on the side in marker. Knowing now that this is an old stock material, I’m definitely going to hang onto it! This particular cabochon I had cut a preform of a couple of years ago and I finally finished it. It is also a very thick piece. A simple wrap to show off as much of the stone as possible!

All silver chains are stainless steel. Please indicate in the cart notes if you would like 18” or 24” stainless steel chain or an 18” black wax cord.

All silver wire is a silver plated enameled non-tarnish wire with copper core, unless otherwise noted as sterling.
