8mm Opalite and Matte Howlite Winter Stretch Bracelet

It's still winter for a few more months! We may not get snow here in Texas, but I can dream! Here we have a blue and white stretch bracelet made from 8mm opalite and matte howlite beads. Opalite is a manmade material, and howlite is a white stone named after geologist Henry How, that was discovered in Nova Scotia but has several deposits all over the globe. Interestingly there are large deposits of it California and Nevada.

This bracelet is a size 7 1/4in, which is larger than I typically make but it still fits nicely even though I am a 6 1/4in wrist. It is made with nickel free findings and a pre-stretched 1mm stretch cord to prevent sagging and closed with a triple surgeons knot.
