Agatized Dinosaur Bone Heart (cut by me)

Dinosaur bone! Can you believe how cool this is? So I only have a *very* small chunk of this material. It is different in color to the last Dino bone cabs I made, and that one was just from a tiny slab about the size of my palm. This one is a chunk about the size of a pingpong ball maybe. I may only be able to make a few cabs out of it. I managed to make a fairly nice sized heart for my Valentine's Day collection and it's so pretty!

Dinobone cabs come from material that formed when dinosaur bone cells and structure were slowly replaced by agates and other minerals over millions and millions of years. This is why you can still see the bone structure in the stone. How cool is that? I wrapped this piece in bare copper as I felt it matched the stone the best. It will come with a 24" copper plated chain. Bare copper will patina over time, and you can polish it up with any jewelry polishing pad or cloth.
