OOAK Willow Creek Jasper Coffin
$85.00 USD
Willow Creek Jasper is a high-grade porcelain jasper mined up in the mountains north of Eagle, Idaho, and is widely celebrated by lapidary folks as the "Queen of Jaspers". This material is rare, and is only found in this one spot which also happens to be privately owned land. It only forms inside thunder eggs, which are volcanic formations, and the mining process is quite extensive and laborious. All of these things contribute to its rarity on the lapidary market.
This stone was cut by me. I knew spooky season was coming, and I had a piece of this cut in a preform that already sort of resembled a coffin. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, you simply won’t find another piece of Willow Creek cut in this shape.
It is wrapped in a silver plated non-tarnish enameled wire and will come with your choice of 18 or 24 inch stainless steel chain. If there is no preference, it will come with 24 inches by default.
